Allow around 1 1/2 hours to get to the Pella/Um Qeis area from Amman. A good idea is to start by exploring Jerash and its magnificent ruins, then continue north.
By bus: JETT (Jordan Express Travel & Tourism).
Offers a regular service in airconditioned coaches from Amman to Irbid.
By car or taxi: From the Sport City interchange in Amman, head northwest past Jordan University.
